Propose technical solutions related to the functional analysis
I will demonstrate this skill through the "Arc Volée" sensor project. During this project, I conducted a functional analysis, followed by an exploration of different solutions. Afterward, I evaluated and compared these solutions using a decision matrix, which allowed me to select the sensor that best met the requirement specifications (cahier des charges).
Justify the relevance of technological choices
I demonstrate this skill through the environmental sensor project. To find solutions that meet our system's requirements, I created decision matrices. Each decision matrix corresponds to a sub-system. First, I create an organic allocation of functions, which matches the functions with the sub-systems. Then, I assign coefficients (weights) to the functions; these coefficients are entirely arbitrary and serve to give more importance to some functions than to others.
I then conduct a research step to find solutions that address the functions of this sub-system. After the research, for each solution found, I assign a score between 0 and 10. (0: does not meet the requirement, 5: meets the requirement, 10: exceeds the quality of the requirement).
From this matrix, I get a performance index for the solution. I also display the cost of each solution. Finally, I plot performance versus cost on a graph. This allows me to compare the solutions and choose the most suitable one, which enables me to justify my technical choices.
Contribute to the drafting of a requirements specification
During the environmental sensor project, I conducted a functional analysis. This allowed me to understand the client's needs. Based on this functional analysis, I was able to write a requirements specification (cahier des charges). In this specification, one can find each function of the system with a flexibility level as well as a possible required proof (verification method). Each function has a description and a level (performance) to meet. Thus, I demonstrate that I know how to write a requirements specification.
De-risk the selected technical solutions
During the electrical alternative project (B_MASSET_rapport_BUT2), I conducted a feasibility study that took into account the environment in which the system would have to operate and the system's usage constraints. I had to verify that implementing this electrical alternative posed no problems to the system's operation. I thus found an appropriate solution, and I finally verified that the system met the requirements specification (cahier des charges), just as the previously implemented hydraulic cylinder did.

Write a design file
During the environmental sensor project, I produced various deliverables, such as a design file. Inside, one can find the explanations for the selected technical choices, the various problems encountered, and how they were resolved. This document makes it possible to understand the design process and to see the avenues explored by the project, which is very useful if a third party needs to take over the project to improve it.
